TRBV cast trunnion ball valves comply with the latest version of API Standard 6D and are tested according to API Standard 598. It is designed for demanding oil and gas applications including production, transportation and distribution.
The side-entry trunnion ball valve is designed with two independent floating seats to ensure two-way sealing of the valve. These seats are designed to minimize the torque required to operate the valve without losing sealing power. This power is guaranteed by zero pressure difference of the maximum rated pressure of the valve. In addition, these repairable valves seal both seats simultaneously and allow trapped chamber pressure (DBB) to be released while the ball is in the closed position. The DBB feature allows verification that the seat is properly sealed.
